From this season, Gridiron NSW requires that all clubs need two qualified First Aiders, and will need to supply the League proof of a current HTLFA301B or higher qualification for these individuals.
For this course held 13 September, the league will reimburse $100 to each Gridiron NSW club to attend the course. The rebate will be deducted from club registration costs, or as a cheque for clubs who have paid rego already. Sports strapping is not a requirement of the League but is recommended.
This course is also available to friends and family outside Gridiron NSW to attend, provided non-club individuals are paid and complete the course requirements.

Venue: UTS City Campus Broadway, Ultimo (Harry Heath Room)
Time: 9.30am – approx 5pm
Course: Apply First Aid (also known as Senior First Aid) & Basic Sports Strapping
Cost: $145 per person include sports strapping ($110 first aid only)
Requirements: Students must be enrolled and paid by the 2nd September by completing the group booking form.
Payment may be made by credit card, money order or cheque. If paying via credit card, please supply card details on the booking form.
Once enrolment is received Training Aid Australia will send each student their online username and password in order to complete Training Aid Australia’s online pre study / workbook.
After the first aid practical assessments on the 13 September, we will then move into sports strapping (ankle, knee, thumb, shoulder).
On completion of this course you will receive your Apply First Aid certificate (formerly known as Senior First Aid). This course is accredited by Workcover NSW and is valid for 3 years.
