Change to the Wolfpack 2010 Coaching staff http://gridironnsw.org.au/2009/12/18/change-to-the-wolfpack-2010-coaching-staff/ http://gridironnsw.org.au/2009/12/18/change-to-the-wolfpack-2010-coaching-staff/#comments Fri, 18 Dec 2009 08:33:29 +0000 Jason Gaffey http://gridironnsw.org.au/?p=592 Coach John Pongrac (west Sydney Pirates / GNSW Wolfpack) has decided to announce his retirement from coaching. After two decades plus of contributing to the league and the sport, as well as achieving success at the highest levels, John has decided that there are other things in his life that deserve fuller attention. I’m sure you’ll join me in wishing John every success in the future and also thank him for his enormous contribution to gridiron in Australia.

This retirement vacates the role of Offensive Coordinator for Wolfpack. After much thought, it was decided that Ian Taylor should fill the role. Already Head Coach Dunne has been working ‘hands on’ with the offense and Ian’s contribution as Receivers coach makes him a good fit for the position.

This appointment has the support of Rocco, Miro, the Wolfpack coaches and the league executive. Congratulations, Ian!

Jason Gaffey
President – GNSW
